Helping Your Baby Learn to Sit, Crawl & Walk Naturally

Watching your baby hit milestones like sitting, crawling, and walking is one of the most exciting parts of parenthood. But remember—every baby grows at their own pace. There’s no need to rush or compare. Here's how you can gently support their natural development:

🪑 Sitting Up (Around 4–7 months)

  • Give tummy time daily — it strengthens neck and back muscles.

  • Let baby sit with support using cushions or your lap.

  • Avoid baby seats that restrict movement for too long.

Tip: Cheer and clap when they try—your encouragement matters!

🐾 Crawling (6–10 months)

  • Create a soft, safe floor space for baby to explore.

  • Place toys just out of reach to motivate movement.

  • Let them go barefoot indoors—it helps with grip and balance.

Did You Know? Some babies skip crawling and move straight to walking. That’s totally okay too!

🚶♀️ Walking (9–15 months)

  • Let baby pull up using furniture or your hands.

  • Hold their hands as they take a few steps.

  • Avoid walkers—they delay walking and aren’t safe.

Reminder: Stumbles and falls are part of learning. Celebrate the tiny steps!

❤️ Be Patient & Keep It Fun

Don’t stress about timelines. Celebrate progress and offer lots of love and praise. Your support gives them confidence!
